why morning light?
hospice care allowed kayley to pass in comfort and dignity in her home, as well, alleviating stress from her family and partner. morning light offers no-cost accommodations for terminally ill people of little means in indianapolis. a reality not often considered, to receive hospice care, one must have a home. kayley cared deeply for her community and would want to make sure everyone had access to the care she received in her end of life journey.
morning light is eligible to receive tax-deductible charitable contributions; you can learn more about their program here.

“kayley existed in a state of perpetual motion. a comet. something else entirely. but mostly an inspiration.
she fought till the fucking end too. i didn’t think that type of strength was possible. but it was with her. she made people feel like anything was possible. she still makes me feel like i can do anything.
most of all she lifted others that needed lifting. when i think about her. and all that she carried. and all those she carried. the only way to honor her was working with a charity that embodies that same spirit.”
